The Graveyard is Rising Again, October 2010.

It's not too late to sign-up to be a part of this Season's Haunted Graveyard Staff!

We will be holding another sign-up night this Thursday, Sept. 9th for all Adult Featured Actor, High School Volunteer Scare Actor and Behind-the-Scenes positions.

Come to the Lake Compounce Service Entrance at 822 Lake Ave., Bristol from 6-7:30pm.

A portion of the proceeds are donated to support the American Diabetes Association.

Haunted at Halloween

The Haunted Graveyard will be open every weekend from Oct 1st thru Oct 31st from dusk to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and from dusk to 10pm on Sundays. The Haunted Graveyard opens at dusk, but Lake Compounce opens at 5 p.m. so come early to purchase your timed ticket for the thrills.

Why we do it

The Haunted Graveyard got its start in 1991, when Ernie and Carol Romegialli's daughter, Johanna, was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. "We started decorating our yard ... it would keep Johanna's mind off candy, " notes Ernie, "It outgrew our yard and has since evolved into Southern New England’s largest Halloween attraction."

To date, The Haunted Graveyard has raised more than $700,000 for Diabetes Research. Read more about The Reason.
